Airsoft Safety
Fundamental airsoft safety should be followed to avoid any possibility of injury. Even though airsoft guns has less chance of injury compared to real firearms and paintball guns, players should still treat their airsoft gun as if it was real.
There are four basic rules an airsoft player should follow:
- Handle the gun as if it is loaded at all times.
- Avoid aiming the gun at everything that is not intended to be shot at.
- The player should keep their fingers off the trigger until ready to play.
- At all times, know what the target and what is behind it before firing.
As any competitive sport, airsoft contains a certain about of risk of injury. That is why in the airsoft community has developed a standard of safety guidelines to prevent most injuries
